Smaller bites are always better â whether itâs delicious food or the goals that shape your life. This article has been waiting patiently inside me, and today, on a sunâkissed California morning after my surfâstrength workout, it finally arrived. It hit me like a smile from the sky, sparkling and bright: extreme happiness.
As I reflected on my last 90 days of 2025 and my first 90 days of 2026, I realized something new. Some goals donât belong to a single season â they drift, they carry over, they evolve. And when they finally come together, I get this overwhelming feeling of âIâm living my best life.â
Let me show you what I mean.

đş A RealâLife Example of FLOW
One of my goals from late 2025 was to get a beach cruiser with a surf rack and a pink basket â my dream setup for riding to the ocean with my board and my goodies. I tried forcing it in October, but nothing aligned.
So I planted the seed. Released it to the universe. Stayed aware. Stayed open.
And then â FLOW.
A new friend who owns a fabulous skincare and wellness studio, The Glow Prescriptive mentioned she was clearing her garage. She sold me her beautiful beach cruiser bicycle for the exact price I had set in my mind. My October goal arrived in spring, right when the evenings shifted to daylight savings and the surf turned magical. Patience is hard at times and yet so worth it. Now I cruise down to the bluff, lock my bike and surf until sunset...my afterwork natural gym with community. Crazy fun!
That is Living My Best Life. And you can do this too.

When I approach my 90âday FLOW this way â gently, steadily, nurturing my soul â magic happens. Some goals complete. Some float into the next season with ease. Everything aligns because Iâm aligned.
This is FLOW. Some call it luck. But now you know the secret.

A year ago, if you told me Iâd publish a childrenâs board book and start a new company, I would have said, âOooookay⌠maybe?â But four seasons later, I did.

Here were my three goals:

Physical: Relearn to surf

Mental: Take a Stanford Continuing Studies class

Emotional: Get the therapy I needed to reset my nervous system
I didnât force frequency. I committed to doing each at least once a week. As I grew stronger, more peaceful, and more knowledgeable, the momentum built naturally. Joy became my fuel. FLOW took over.
And my community grew with me â supporting me as I supported them. Symbiosis.
